This event follows the Woman’s Only event at the Rockhampton Triathlon, Hosted at the 2nd World War Memorial Pool (South Side Pool).

It includes a variety of distances for ages 5 to 14 (as of 31 December 2026).

2025 junior event options:

Cost: $25 per child. Early bird discounted entry $15 available until 20th February 2026. Entries close 11:59pm, Friday 20th March 2026.

Schedule:

6:45am – 8:00am:  Participant Check In, Transition and Bag Drop
8:15am:  Mandatory Event Briefing
8:30am: Juniors WAVE STARTS
9:45am (approximately): Transition Open for Bike Checkout & Bag Collection

2025 Course: The swim, ride & run legs will follow the same format as 2023 & 2024. Roads are closed and the course is well supervised. Flippers, pool noodles & kick boards are welcome for the swim leg.
